Large Polished Steel Non-Mortise Cabinet Lock

Intended as non-mortise lock for double door gun cabinet. The tolerance where doors met very tight. The keeper bolt would extend behind fixed door but would not fully retract, making it unusable for intended purpose. Obtained replacement; same problem. Sloppy manufacturing tolerance.

Once it came back into stock it arrived swiftly and was easy to install. It helped to restore the capacity to lock an antique corner cabinet. I would absolutely purchase from this site again if I required any more antique and special need parts.

We use this on a product line that requires concealed security. It works great! The lock mechanism is stiff, but that is good because it makes it impossible to pick the lock with a bobby pin or paper clip. Those metals will just bend.

100% functional Bright shiny finish clashes when installed on an antique cabinet with brass hardware. If you use your existing keyhole trim piece as I did, you can keep the new shiny to just the key. No big deal really. An antiqued brass finish would be a good option though.

Wardrobe came from husband's family. We had it made into a china cabinet. Old hardware would not keep the doors shut so we had them rigged with a large rubber band. Finally I ordered the replacement locks. Easy to install and they work perfect.

It didn't exactly fit. And, the description was not that descriptive, so it was hard to match. And the key that came with it was c-h-e-a-p-o! Key is really poor quality, cheap material. I went to my local locksmith and he was able to get me a key to the old lock which fits properly. I need to return it, and I just need to get around to it. All in all, eh. Or even less than eh.

Using this lock to reproduce period travel bags. So any review would be confusing. I have tried different locks and while no lock is exactly what I am locking for this style seems to be working better than others I have tried.

this was an easy buy it was exactly as described, when i received it it looked like my old lock had been restored. can't believe I got such a bargain for so little. now all i need is the keyhole cover for the wood door

WAS GIVEN A BEAUTIFUL, VERY OLD, BREAKDOWN WARDROBE AND THE KEYS WERE MISSING. IT WAS EASIER TO REPLACE THE LOCKS THAN TO FIND KEYS TO FIT. VERY PLEASED WITH THE ORDERING PROCESS, THE SPEEDY DELIVERY, THE PRICE, AND THE LOCKS WERE PERFECT FOR THE PIECE.
