Description

This solid cast brass buzzer button has the word "Press" embossed onto it, and will work well with Arts & Crafts or Art Deco architectural styles. It's available in five great finishes. Very popular for nearly a century!

Dimensions: 2 1/2" diameter.

Please note: this electric button is designed to operate a standard door chime located within a home. The chime is not included (available at most home improvement stores) and must be hardwired into the wall.
WARNING: California Proposition 65

Beautiful doorbell!

Comments:

Replaced old hardwired doorbell. Authentic. Excellent value!

Beautiful quality. Impressive weight/quality.

Comments:

Easy installation. Great presentation. Darling.

Beautiful, but defective

Comments:

I LOVE the design of this doorbell, however, it does not work. We wired it correctly, but the actual button doesn't complete the circuit when pressed so it doesn't ring. Connected the old doorbell back up and it worked fine, connected this one again and nothing. Beautiful doorbell. Really wish it worked. I'm hoping I can exchange for a different one.

Chrome ""Press"" door bell

Comments:

It's just a door bell button, but I can't belive the comments my daughter has had, after we installed on a 1910 Eastlake home we are restoring. I know of 2 friends who ordered same. Nice piece, as always from HOA.

Classic look but finicky

Comments:

Great looking cast doorbell but works inconsistently at times. Sometimes have to push multiple times to get to ring. I would recommend with reservation regarding reliability.

Different from the others.....

Comments:

Very unique door bell ""buzzer"". I get compliments from all my visitors.

Good quality vintage replacement

Comments:

The product is not flush to the wall. If you are replacing an old doorbell that fit flush as mine did, you will need to make a hole approximately 1/2"" deep by 5/8"" diameter (e.g. by chiseling some mortar between bricks).

Great classic doorbell

Comments:

I bought my craftsman style home in 1977. Every year since then, I've often had people knocking on my door instead of using the doorbell. When asked why they didn't ring the bell they'd usually say, ""What doorbell?"" I've been restoring my home back to a more classic look from the early 1920's and loved this doorbell when I first saw it. The price was great and installation was easy. Just this evening a person who came to my front door rang the bell twice in a row and told me he liked my doorbell. I really enjoy it; most people ask me where I got it, saying it fits my house and that they haven't seen one like it before. It was definitely worth it's price (which was great) and I think it suits my house to a ""T""! Very easy to install and I got the polished brass look which I liked best and goes well with the outer color of my home, creme w/brown trim.

Great piece, great price!

Comments:

I ordered this in black and it is heavy, solid and looks great! Easy to install too.

Great quality and price
