Plated-Steel Picture Rail Hook

These are great picture rail hooks! Simple design and effect strength. Only ""con"" comment I have is that the stain used was not completely wiped. So I recommend rubbing the excess stain off with a cloth before you put up on your light colored walls.

We used the rail hooks in conjunction with our existing picture rail molding to display a number of antique and modern quilts

I used this product for rental apartment model unit in a renovated mill. The ceilings are high so the walls were not constructed to the ceiling. The top was trimmed with a rail system to accommodate this picture hook. We are hoping to use these Picture Rail Hooks throughout the building to avoid multiple holes in the walls from renters. All you need is wire or heavy fish line to hang your favorite picture or mirror.

I installed picture rail in a number of rooms that have 9 ft. ceilings. The hooks worked great. I am able to display my large collection of watercolors.

I have added picture moulding to to several rooms in my house. I was unable to find any picture rail hooks locally. I live in a 1920's bungalow and wanted something simple to go with the craftsman inspired decor. The hooks offered at House of Antique Hardware are just what I wanted, simple, elegant, and affordable. I received the hooks within about three days of ordering them, which I think was outstanding!

These picture hooks are hard to find. I wanted something that would go with the craftsman style I am trying to restore into my 1920's home. First of all, the style is simple. The finish is perfect. The hooks are shaped perfectly to go on the mouldings I put up and stay there. I had trouble finding any at all until I ordered from House of Antique Hardware, let alone find just what I was looking for. This was actually my second order for this product.

I wanted my new walls to remain free of holes caused by picture hanging. My talented carpenter installed picture rail around our finished basement. I searched for picture rail hooks in every hardware store in which I shopped - with negative results. Finally I decided to search the internet for the much needed hooks. Several times I found indications that the ""big box stores' carried the hooks only to be extremely disappointed and frustrated when I travelled to each store to purchase the hooks and discovered the internet information was incorrect. I decided to take a chance on your store. I was not disappointed.

We installed picture rails and the hooks were/are to fit the molding size we used. Half of them fit and the other were too small.

I bought the rail hangers to be used in the Habitat For Humanity ReStore of Ontario County (NY) ""Art Wall"", which I maintain. We have approximately 50' of wall hanging space with moulding on three levels. It makes a very impressive display space, and provides considerable income, so we may build homes for people who would not be able to have one otherwise. The shiny brass finish matches the original ones we bought imported from England, an d saved us considerable expense.
