Perfect replacement for missing strike
Comments:
We've remodeled the basement in our 100 year old home and reused old doors but were missing the strikes.
You always have it
Comments:
The painters who removed all the doors in my house and hardware neglected to re install the strike plates...they threw them out...I purchased the house knowing that I would be placing this order with you.
Retrofit Door Strike

Served the purpose.
very good value

Very nice product that is not available readily. The only two improvements I would make are narrowing the width to match my older ones, and I do put these on my buffer to bring the finish up. All in all though I am very happy to have these available from a company I like ordering from.
Solid strike plates-exactly as expected
Comments:
I purchased this in oil-rubbed bronze - I thought the antique brass was too uniform and didn't quite match. The parts I received (enough for every door in the house) were of excellent quality, very thick and sturdy. My one complaint is that I wish they hadn't been so exacting in the replication. Since it uses a flat-head screw, if it slips outside at all, you'll scratch the strike plate and be left with a shiny halo around the screw. A phillips head screw would have prevented this.
dramatic improvement for short money

I was satisfied with the appearance and quality of this item.
What an easy fix!

After searching local hardware stores in California's gold country, someone suggested checking your stock of strike plates to replace one that disappeared during the remodeling of our old house. There it was, the perfect match on the first page. Next time we need to replace or match old door hardware, your website will be the first place I look.
The old doors have a mind of their own!

I live in a 1917 Colonial style home that has been a rent house for 16 yrs. In the past, the renters threw away the strike plates on the doors when they fell off. When I moved into the home this May, the doors wouldn't close and stay closed. The first thing I did was find House of Antique Hardware to find the reproduction strikeplates that I needed. They fit perfectly.
Highly accurate replica
Comments:
Item is authentic and period accurate. I'll be back when I need more quality material.
