Description
Dimensions: Lock body: 4 3/16" W x 3 5/16" H x 3/4" Thick. Keeper: 3/4" W x 3 5/16" H x 3/4" Thick. Knobs: 2 3/8" Diameter. Rosette: 1 7/8" Diameter. Keyhole Cover: 15/16" W x 1 11/16" H. Backset: 3 1/16".
Door Thickness: 1" to 1 3/4". Spindles: Includes 3 1/2" & 4" lengths both 20 TPI and 9/32" W. Use 3 1/2" spindle for 1" to 1 1/2" thick doors, use 4" for 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" thick. Includes an Allen wrench and set screws for mounting knobs to spindle.
Please note: the privacy latch can not be disengaged from outside the room.

I am in the process of restoring my 113 year old home, that is on The National Register of Historic Places, to the condition it was in prior to an unwise ""modernization"" in 1967. These rim locks are almost exactly like the ones my grandfather installed in 1901. They are easy to install and can be switched from right hand to left hand operation quickly. They look great on my new, hand-crafted paneled doors. These are the fifth and sixth rim locks I have installed thus far.

Our house is a Victorian built in 1889 and the door hardware is still original. Most of the Rim lock sets are worn out and don't work very well, my wife is always after me to 'fix' them. After many attempts I gave up and started searching the internet to find replacements, I came across your website and ordered one set to see how it looked and worked. I was very pleased and plan on replacing all the door rim lock sets in the house.

This was a WONDERFUL replacement for my home. We needed an extra set of hardware for a new door which never existed in our current 106+ year old home.The local hardware store has a replacement that we use on my son's door that is totally horrible. So we decided to upgrade for this door and try HOAH. THEY ARE AWESOME. The weight of each lock-set alone is telling. Without a doubt that you are getting a great lock-set. Used one for bathroom door, now on to my son's room. Deffinately will be replacing any hardware items that break with House of Antique Hardware Items down the road! The money is worth every penny.
