Pair of Round Brass Door Knobs in Four Classic Finishes

This worked great to replace my old door knob that had worn out threads. I like that this finish will tarnish over time so it will match the rest of the door hardware.

Solid product ore robust than the 110 year old original knobs

Because of the design, as most are like this; it can be hard to get the right slack and have the set screw in a good place. This can be addressed with thin washers that go between a knob and the inner mechanism. They won't be seen and allow the right rotation. Nylon washer are good so there's no unwanted rubbing.

These are the less expensive brass knobs, but they've got a nice weight to them and feel great.

I bought seven of these knobs along with the rosettes. Installed them one months ago on newly sanded and painted doors. For the first week they were lovely to look at but as you can see from the uploaded photos they are peeling and cracking, even on doors to the unused guest room and closets. They have also become discolored in places. I think I have two knobs out of the seven sets that are still unblemished and these are on closet doors that are rarely used. That says a bad finished product to me. Such a waste of money. Terribly disappointed! Don't bother purchasing them if my experience is anything to go by.

This door knob was a perfect replacement. I also love that it's adjusted with an Allen wrench instead of a flathead screwdriver. It stays in place.

it is difficult to find hardware that fits the antique locks some of which are more than 100 years old. This unit was perfect saved a bunch for not changing the entire system plus it looks so authentic
