Economy Passage Latch - 2 3/8-Inch Backset

Economical replacement passage tubular latch with 2 3/8-inch backset for spindle type door knobs. The strike and face plate are made of brass plated steel.

Dimensions: 2 3/8" (60mm) backset. Latch housing: 13/16" H (20mm) x 1/2" W (13mm) x 3 1/8" L (80mm), 3 1/4" L (83mm) w/ faceplate. Faceplate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W. Sized to use a 5/16" spindle.

Backset: On a lock or latch, it is the distance from the front of the face plate to the center of the knob hub. On the door, it is from the edge of the door to the center of the door knob.
