Hardware pulls it all together

I updated my bedroom completely in Arts and Crafts/Prairie style. The registers, electrical cover plates, closet door pulls were all the finishing touches to the feel of the room and they are perfect. I'm a detail person and these details were just what I needed

The screws that hold the adjustable aspect are pan-heads and stick out. This saves them from a bit more machining and using flat-head screws. However, for the money this should be done. The screw heads often stick out too far requiring the malformation of the boot to get the register to fit.
