Arts & Crafts Premium Brass Floor Register - With Adjustable Louver

When I restored a home I recently sold, I bought these same registers for that house. They were beautiful and the finish stayed like new over a five year period. They are well crafted and made of a solid material. This is different from the registers you can find in the Warehouse Supply stores which are cheap Chinese made junk that rusts within a year. Now I am buying these registers to improve my newly purchased home.

I replaced a modern wooden register with this register. It looks perfect in our Craftsman home--much more appropriate.

We removed a back porch that, unlike the rest of the house, was wood frame and was literally falling off the southeast corner of the house. We replaced it with a full, barrier-free bathroom. The floor grate isn't like the rest of the old-fashioned wall grates but the new grate certainly has the same ""feel"" as the rest of the house. We also bought push-button wall switches and plates from House of Antique Hardware (last year) in the same style as the floor grate. It's really turning out to be a homey, warm, and inviting Craftsman Bungalow renovation. Thanks, House of Antique Hardware for your participation!

Replaced old ones that were original with house

I would buy these again. We have changed our surroundings over the last decade to fit our taste rather than live with what came with the house...the registers are part of that. Instead of something that you can still get at the local hardware store we have registers that mirror our furniture and aesthetic interests. I tip my tiny hat to the designer, they do please. Also, they fit existing vent openings just fine. No elbow grease required.

The oil rubbed bronze is not. It is just a solid brown color with none of the bronze or coppery highlights often seen in ORB. Given that these are floor registers and sometimes get walked on I am worried that the paint like coating will come off and reveal shiny brass underneath. Would have done better with antique brass. Register itself is nice but do not get ORB finish.

Fits in my home environment without screaming ""new"".Extremely pleased with the fit and the quality. Cons? I now want to replace every floor grate in my home!

This floor register is exactly what I was looking for. I have an AC vent right in front of a doorway that has lots of foot traffic. I needed low profile to prevent trip hazard, but sturdy to withstand constant use, and it's beautiful...bonus!!

I was impressed with the over beauty of item. It does not look like a reproduction, but more like original hardawre, even though it fulfills a modern requirment not found in old homes.
