From 1909 through the 1930s, Emeralite's wall and table lamps were popular in homes and offices throughout America. Their trademark green glass shades, which direct light downwards, were cleverly marketed as "kind to the eyes". Originally designed as a work-station task or reading light, this circa 1920 sconce works equally well over your favorite artwork or arm chair. Made of solid brass with three finish options - unlacquered bright brass, lacquered polished brass or dark antique brass.
Light fixture comes complete with glass shade and measure 7" high, 10" wide and projects 10 1/2". The canopy measures 5 1/2" in diameter.
For an authentic period lighting effect, use our genuine Edison-style bulbs in your fixture. These carbon filament bulbs are great for exposed sockets and cast a warm, mellow light. Learn about hardware >
