This handy and attractive apparatus allows you to open and close a transom window without the use of a pole and hook. Mounted along side the door or window frame, it's easily accessed and operated. Made of solid brass, it won't rust or lose its finish over time, like plated steel rods. The brass is left unlacquered and may be kept polished or allowed to darken with age.
This operator works with windows hinged at the top or at the bottom. If mounting for a window hinged on the bottom, opening down, the ceiling must be at least 8" above the top of the transom window. The overall length of the operator is 51" (the full length is not pictured in the product photo).
