Question: What is the difference between full mortise, half mortise and non mortise cabinet locks?
Answer: Full mortise locks fit completely inside the door in a mortise pocket. Half mortise locks fit on the inside of the door in a mortise notch and the back of the lock is exposed. Non mortise locks are surface mounted to the door.
