This handsome Victorian era rim lock set suits homes from the 1850s through the early 20th century. The simple and authentic design features a sturdy brass case and solid brass knobs, as well as a brass rosette, keyhole and skeleton keys. The brass is unlacquered and will darken with age, but may be keep bright with periodic polishing. Heavy-duty interior parts ensure smooth operation and lasting performance. In addition to the key-operated dead bolt, there is a handy privacy latch (sliding tab on top of case). Easily reversible for right or left handed doors.
Lock body: 3 1/4" W x 4 1/8" H x 3/4" Thick. Keeper: 3/4" W x 4 1/8" H x 3/4" Thick. Knobs: 1 7/8" Diameter. Rosette: 1 7/8" Diameter. Keyhole Cover: 15/16" W x 1 11/16" H. Backset: 2 3/8". Please note: the privacy latch can not be disengaged from outside the room.
