Brass Exterior Door Plate with Cylinder Hole in Antique-By-Hand - 8" x 2 1/2"

This New York style back plate is designed for the exterior side of an entry door. It features a knob collar and cylinder hole to be used with entry mortise locks. Made of solid, forged brass, it comes in our exclusive Antique-By-Hand, a living finish that ages gracefully over time into a beautiful natural patina.

Dimensions: 8" H x 2 1/2" W and projects 1/4". Inside collar diameter: 21/32". Center to center spacing of cylinder hole to knob collar: 3 7/16".

How do I know what door knobs will work with a particular rosette or door plate? The knob shank diameter should be a little less than the inside collar diameter on the rosette.
