What's a Backset?

Door set dimensions: Exterior handle is 8 7/8" H x 1 1/8" W and projects 2 5/8". Exterior handle backplate is 18 1/2" x 3". Interior backplate is 10" H x 2 11/16" W.

Latch dimensions: Backset is 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" - specify when ordering. Latch case: 1" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.

Deadbolt specs: Decorative face plates are 2 3/4" H x 1 1/8" W". The deadbolt has a pick-resistant Schlage C keyway and a 1" throw. Multiple sets on one order will be keyed differently unless otherwise requested. To key alike or to match a specific key number, please call to place your order. A double keyed cylinder is available upon request.

This set will fit doors from 1 3/4" - 2 1/8" in thickness, with a 5 1/2" center to center boring for the latch and deadbolt. Extended version can be ordered for doors up to 3" in thickness, call for details.
