Solid Brass Left Hand Offset Ice Box Latch in Antique-By-Hand Finish

Solid brass left hand ice box latch that has been hand antiqued and oiled. Offset by 3/8" the lever measures 3 1/4" long and the base measures 2 1/4" tall and 1 1/8" wide with the catch being 3/4" wide. This is a left hand latch and is designed to be placed on the right side of the door.

Offset means that the surface of the cabinet door projects out from the cabinet frame, usually 3/8” or 1/2". Offset hinges and latches are surface mounted to the door and the frame of the cabinet.
