Description & Dimensions

Vintage character, quality construction and a handy thumb turn locking solution, make this mortise pocket door set a great choice for any room requiring privacy. Including traditional rectangular trim, a spring-loaded edge pull and your choice of 5 classic finishes, this solid brass set will do the job in style. For a complete double pocket door set, combine this locking set with the matching dummy mortise case & pulls (RS-06EM-2106X).

The lock is activated from the inside by the bow-shaped thumb turn. The latch bolt is held in place by the included strike or dummy mortise case (for double doors - purchase separately). An emergency release button on the exterior allows the door to be unlocked with a common screwdriver. To release the integrated edge pull, simply push the button above the pull. This set is designed for doors between 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" in thickness.

Dimensions. Surface Trim: 7 1/2" H x 2 1/2" W x 1/16" T. The recessed portion of the pulls must be mortised 1/4" into the door. Lock backset: 2 3/16". Faceplate: 8" H x 7/8" W X 1/16" Thick. Strike plate: 3 1/2" H x 3/4"W. Lock case: 5 3/4" H x 3 1/2" W x 9/16" thick.

Hardware Tip:
The thickness of your pocket door must be greater than the sum of the mortise depth measurements for two pulls plus the thickness of the lock case. Learn about hardware >
