Recreated from an 1894 pattern known as "Belfort", this Neo-Gothic doorset makes a stately first impression. Originally designed by Sargent & Co, it has all the bells and whistles of the English medieval style - pointed arches, linen-fold panels and matching trefoil knobs. Crafted from premium cast brass, with 4 period finish options.
Door set dimensions. Backplates: 18" H x 3 3/8" W . Knobs: 2 1/4" D x 2 5/8" P (including back plate thickness).
Latch dimensions. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W. Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Backset: 2 3/8" or 2 3/4". Strikeplate: 2 3/4" H x 1 1/8" W. Tongue: 1/2".
Deadbolt specs. Double and single cylinder options are available and must be specified when ordering. Deadbolt faceplate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W". Latch case: 1" D. Strikeplate: 2 3/4" H x 1 1/8" W. The deadbolt has a pick-resistant Schlage C keyway and a 1" throw. Multiple sets on one order will be keyed differently unless otherwise requested. This set will fit doors 1 3/4" in thickness, with a 5 1/2" center to center boring for the latch and deadbolt. For thicker doors or other options, including dummy sets, split finishes, and additional knob and interior plate styles, are available by special order. Please call to order.

Door Set Functions
Latch and lock - The door is opened by a knob/lever on the exterior and on the interior. On the deadbolt, there is a keyed lock cylinder for use on the outside of the door while a thumb turn is used to lock the door on the interior.
