Description & Dimensions

Give your door a vintage look with our classic New York entry set. Dating from the early 20th century, this tightly tailored design suits everything from colonial revival to mid-century modern. The set includes premium forged brass plates, wrought brass knobs, and a heavy-duty, precision made mortise lock. Choose from 5 period finishes. Available with 2 1/2" or 2 3/4" backset. Please note the 2 1/2" backset option uses a no egress lock, but the 2 3/4" backset lock does have egress.

Dimensions. Exterior door plate: 8" H x 2 1/2" W and projects 1/4". Knobs: 2 1/4" diameter.

Interior rosette: 2 3/4" Diameter. Thumbturn plate: 1 3/4" H x 1 3/16" W.

Mortise lock dimensions: Lock case: 5 5/8" H x 13/16" T. Width is 3 9/16" for 2 1/2" backset and 3 3/4" for 2 3/4" backset. Lock face plate: 8" H x 1 1/4" W. The brass strike plate measures 4 7/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide with a 5/8" tongue projection. The lock is field reversible for left or right hand doors and includes a 1 1/8" keyed cylinder and three standard keys.

This set is designed to fit doors from 1 5/8" to 1 7/8" thick. For thicker doors please call for assistance.
