At the end of the 19th century, Gothic-Revival hardware was a popular choice for elegant homes and institutions. The authentic Yale and Towne design of the 16-Inch Colburg Mortise Entry Set with Maltesia Knobs features trefoil cut outs, stylized finials, and matching knobs, all crafted from durable cast brass. Bold and nostalgic, it greets your guests in true romantic style!
Door set dimensions. Backplates: 16" H x 3 3/8" W. Knobs: 2 1/2" D x 3" P (including back plate thickness).
Mortise lock dimensions. Faceplate: 8" H x 1 1/4" W. Lock Body: 5 1/2" H x 7/8" W x 3 1/2" D. Backset: 2 1/2". Strike plate: 4 7/8" H x 1 1/4" W. Tongue: 3/8"
Deadbolt specs. Double and single cylinder options are available and must be specified when ordering. Multiple sets on one order will be keyed differently unless otherwise requested. To key alike or to match a specific key number, please call to place your order.
This set will fit doors 1 3/4" in thickness. The mortise lock is reversible for left or right handing on doors opening in or out. Instructions are included. Other options, including dummy sets, thicker doors, split finishes, and additional knob and interior plate styles, are available by special order. Please call to order.
This lock has egress and can cause lock outs if the stop button is not disengaged when exiting the door.
